The liver is one of the largest and most important organs in the body. It is located on the right side of the abdomen, just below the diaphragm. It performs over 500 vital functions. Including: 1. Detoxification of Blood:  The liver filters harmful substances such as drugs, alcohol, and toxins from the blood. It converts them into less harmful forms that can be removed from the body. 2. Production of Bile:  The liver produces bile, a digestive fluid that helps break down fats in the small intestine. Bile also helps remove waste products like bilirubin. 3.
